The OTTObackpack is not only for bagsewers with experience, but also for beginners with limited experience. The extended tutorial guides you step-by-step with all relevant explanation and fullcolour pictures. The pattern was extensively tested by experienced bagsewers and beginners. The shape and size of the OTTO is universal. Your choice of fabric(s) will decide what kind of look you get. This unisex model is suitable for children, youngsters and adults. The optional divider makes the OTTO truly unique.

– The pattern and tutorial are available in English, Dutch and French. PDF pattern is available in A4, A0 and lettersize.

– All measurements are indicated with inches as well as centimetres.

– You will receive 32 pages of clear step-by-step instructions with colour photos and full size templates.

– The digital pattern provides all the pattern pieces ready to print at home.

– The measurements of the square pieces are also provided if you wish to measure and cut instead.

– H 36cm (14″) W 30cm (12″) D12cm (4 3/4″).

– This backpack can be sewn with or without divider inside. Cuttingcharts are included for both options.

– The tutorial is packed with a lot of tips and tricks as you are proceeding through the process. This will make the sewing easier while your sewing skills refine.

– Exterior fabric: 65 x 120cm (26ā€ x 1 1/3yd) or 90 x 110cm (1yd x 1 1/5yd) (eg. heavy cotton or canvas)

– Contrast fabric: 20 x 60 cm (8ā€ x 24ā€) (eg. corduroy)

– Lining 1: 65 x 120cm (26ā€ x 1 1/3yd) or 90 x 110cm (1yd x 1 1/5yd) (eg. cotton)

– Lining 2: 50 x 110 cm (1/2 yd x 1 1/5 yd) (eg. cotton, water repellent fabric)

– Strap 1: 32mm (1 1/4ā€): 90 cm (36ā€)

– Strap 2: 25mm (width 1ā€): 100 cm (length 39 1/3ā€)

– Zipper: double pull zipper or zipper tape with 2 pulls: 65 cm (27ā€)

– Magnetic snap: 1 piece (or 2 if you prefer 2 snaps on the flap)

– Foam Interfacing: 150 xĀ  72 cm ( 1 2/3yd x 2/3 yd) (eg. style-vil, soft and stable)

– Fusible interfacing 30 xĀ  35 cm (piece 12ā€ x 14ā€) (eg. vlieseline H250, G700, decovil light, pellon 809, pellon SF 101, …)
